Art Studio has begun!

Hi all,
My studio space has begun!
We had to sacrifice a tree for the breaking of ground, but the wood from the cut will be the start of our wood supply for this winter, so it did not give it's life in vain :)
Having my very own designated space for all my art endeavors has been a dream of mine for very many years and to see it coming to fruition is exciting and joyous.
As you can see the hard labor has begun and my contractor (aka: husband) knows how to clear a space with gusto! He has always been one of my biggest fans of my artistic dreams and I am over the moon with his love for me that he would fulfill this dream for me. I'll try to remind him of this as he labors on the many days to come of nailing and cutting, lol.

Stay tuned for updates on the progress, and there may even be a open house giveaway when it's all finished!!!

talk to you soon,

Sunshine, flowers and the sea

Hi all,
Recently I got the chance to spend an afternoon in the lovely sea side town of Half Moon Bay and I couldn't resist taking a few photos of all the blooming flowers around the neighborhood.  There's just something so soothing about the mix of sunshine, flowers and the sea air that fills ones soul and I thought I'd share a bit of that joy with you too on this late spring weekend.

I love this purple house hidden within the white roses.

Here is where I sat at the end of the day, overlooking the ocean, with the wind in my hair and the sound of the crashing waves filling my soul with amazing joy of how God cares for each  and every one of us and loves us with a never ending love.
Blessings to you,
deborah

Meet my sweet online friend, Mrs. Kwitty!

Hi all,
Don't you all just love the blogger world? Well, I know I do because I have met some of the most wonderful people online and one of them is my friend Karen, creator of the darling etsy shop called misseskwittys.
She was actually one of my 100 blog follower winners and lo and behold I was her winner on her blog post celebrating her 4 year etsyversary! And let me tell you, I was sooo excited to win because her creations are super cute and I couldn't wait to see them in person. And when my pkg. arrived in the mail it was so fun!
The items were packaged in a hot pink colored box (which I think she created too!) and wrapped in a darling pink and red heart tissue paper.
Talk about an amazing seamstress, Karens handiwork is perfection, and now my business cards are totally protected as they sit in my purse waiting for me to whip them out at any given moment, lol. Of course the "for someone special" tag with all the gorgeous ribbon and trim made me ohhh and ahhh and the little birdie and gift tags are just so cute. Thank you Karen for such a lovely gift as well as your lovely friendship!
