Hi all,
I ran across a quote today while I was reading an article titled "life on my terms" in the latest issue of Body + Soul magazine and thought I'd share it with you all.

"Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony."

I like that way of thinking, because happiness is not something that just floats through the air and once in a while lands on our shoulders, I think it really is something that we create in our lives. How we respond to others and what we choose to do with those responses, really do shape our hearts and minds. I'm not saying it's always easy, but when we do those three things together, think, say and do, in harmony, life can be a whole lot kinder.

talk to you soon,

Love your post. This is so true! I had to reread it a couple of times to really see the meaning and grasp the truth of it. I know that so often I do not have that harmony. What an eye opener~! I love it! Thank you so much for sharing this. I really would like to put this quote on my blog to remind me daily to practice this. I hope that you do not mind? Thanks so much.

It took me years to realize this, but when I did, my life became much happier and the load much lighter.

You are absolutely right about harmony and happiness don't just land on your shoulder one day....we must all work at it and enjoy what blessings we do have and not worry about what we don't have.
Thanks for reminding us!

SO glad to have "discovered" you, too!! ;)

I agree with your featured quote -- so well put. Now to attempt to achieve that!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and I look forward to reading yours, too.

Take care,
